Little Hearts Fashion Show

April 7th, South Metro Firefighters were thrilled to once again volunteer for the Little Hearts Fashion Show. The 32nd annual event was held on Friday at the Wings Over the Rockies Museum in Denver. Off-duty Firefighters paired up with runway models and prescription dogs then strutted down the stage. The models are all current or former pediatric cardiac patients at Children’s Hospital. Although SMFR has been volunteering at this event for decades, this year was very special. Firefighter Ryan Blanchfield escorted his son Cash down the runway, 1 year after his heart transplant!
