South Metro's Engine Companies are designed to be initial response units to all-hazard emergencies involving fires, medicals, traffic accidents or hazardous materials. Engines are staffed by 3 or 4 firefighters and depending where they are housed in our district, carry between 750 and 1,500 gallons of water.
Technical Details - 2009 Pierce Velocity PUC with a 1,500 gpm pump, 750 gallon water tank and bumper turret.
